Shaan is also known as Shantanu Mukherjee. Shaan is an Indian singer and actor. He was born on 30 September 1972 in a Bengali Brahmin family in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, India. He is the son of Late Manas Mukherjee (Music Director) and Sonali Mukherjee (Singer). He has an elder sister Sagarika Mukherjee (Singer). He was married to Radhika Mukherjee in 2000. He has 2 sons who are Soham and Shubh.
His favorite actors are Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan and his favorite actress are Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar.
Shaan made his singing debut at the age of 17. In 2013, he participated in “Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa 6”. He has hosted many shows like “SaReGaMaPa Challenge”, “SaReGaMaPa Li’l Champs”, “Amul Star Voice of India”, and “Music Mirchi Awards”.
He has awarded the “Filmfare Award” for the song Chaand Sifarish from the film Fanaa in 2006 and for the song Jab Se Tere Naina from the film Saawariya in 2008.
