Kumar Sanu is the most famous Indian Playback Singer. He was born on 20 October 1957 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India as Kedarnath Bhattacharya. He is the son of Pashupati Bhattacharya (Vocalist and Composer).
Kumar was married to his first wife Rita her divorced in 1994 and his second wife is Saloni Sanu and has 2 Daughters Anna (Songwriter and author), Shannon K (Foster, Singer), and his son Jaan (Jico). Kumar’s favorite actor is Amitabh Bachchan and his favorite musician is Kishore Kumar.
Kumar struggled in the music industry for 7 years. Finally, Jagit Singh gave him a big opportunity to sing in the Hindi film “Aandhiyan”. In 1990, He has awarded five consecutive Filmfare awards for Best Male Playback singer along with Arijit Singh. In 2009, He has awarded the Padma Shri Award by the Government Of India.
