He started his singing career in Restaurant named Galib at a very young age.

He is famous for the 3 songs (a) “My Name is Lakhan” from the film ‘Ram Lakhan’ in 1989. (b) “Apke Aa Jane Se” from the film ‘Khudgarz’ in 1987. (c) “Mera Karma Tu” from the film “Karma” in 1986.

He was awarded 4 times with many different awards (a) “BFJ Award” Thrice, in Kolkata, (b) “Mother Teresa International Award” (c) “Aashirwad Award” Twice, in Mumbai, (d) “Gayani Zail Singh” for excellence in Music by ‘President of India’.
