Gulshan Grover, known as Badman in the film industry, had to go door-to-door to collect detergent powder to collect school fees. Bollywood actor Grover shared this anecdote of life with the students in the talk show organized at Tula’s Institute.
Addressing the students in the auditorium of the institute on Saturday afternoon, Gulshan said, ‘I feel extremely happy and excited to be present among the students of Tulaj Institute.’ My childhood was not as bright as my life today. I was part of an average and financially weak family. My father always taught me and my brothers and sisters to rise above all our problems and fulfill dreams and ambitions. I believe that all this can be achieved only through education. Said that my father never let our education become a hindrance. Sharing an anecdote from his childhood, Gulshan Grover said that when I was a school student, my father had to face some difficulties in his career. There came a time when I had to go door-to-door selling detergents to pay my tuition fees. From working as a detergent salesman at such a young age, he made his way into Bollywood. I have faced many ups and downs in my life till becoming the badman of the industry. My motive behind sharing this anecdote is to inspire all of you to work hard. Said that today I feel proud to see actors like Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor making a name for themselves in Hollywood. फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में बैडमैन के नाम से मशहूर गुलशन ग्रोवर को स्कूल फीस लेने के लिए घर-घर जाकर डिटर्जेंट पाउडर लेने जाना पड़ा। बॉलीवुड अभिनेता ग्रोवर ने तुला के संस्थान में आयोजित टॉक शो में छात्रों के साथ जीवन का यह किस्सा साझा किया.
शनिवार दोपहर संस्थान के सभागार में छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए गुलशन ने कहा, 'तुलज संस्थान के छात्रों के बीच उपस्थित होकर मैं बेहद खुश और उत्साहित महसूस कर रहा हूं.' मेरा बचपन आज मेरे जीवन जितना उज्ज्वल नहीं था। मैं एक औसत और आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवार का हिस्सा था। मेरे पिता ने हमेशा मुझे और मेरे भाइयों और बहनों को हमारी सभी समस्याओं से ऊपर उठकर सपनों और महत्वाकांक्षाओं को पूरा करना सिखाया। मेरा मानना है कि यह सब शिक्षा से ही प्राप्त किया जा सकता है। कहा कि मेरे पापा ने कभी हमारी पढ़ाई में बाधक नहीं बनने दिया। गुलशन ग्रोवर ने अपने बचपन का एक किस्सा शेयर करते हुए कहा कि जब मैं स्कूल का छात्र था तो मेरे पिता को अपने करियर में कुछ मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा। एक समय ऐसा आया जब मुझे अपनी ट्यूशन फीस देने के लिए घर-घर जाकर डिटर्जेंट बेचना पड़ा। इतनी कम उम्र में डिटर्जेंट सेल्समैन के रूप में काम करने से उन्होंने बॉलीवुड में अपनी जगह बनाई। इंडस्ट्री का बैडमैन बनने तक मैंने अपने जीवन में कई उतार-चढ़ाव का सामना किया है। इस किस्से को शेयर करने के पीछे मेरा मकसद आप सभी को मेहनत करने के लिए प्रेरित करना है। कहा कि आज मुझे प्रियंका चोपड़ा, अनुपम खेर, अनिल कपूर जैसे अभिनेताओं को हॉलीवुड में अपना नाम बनाते हुए देखकर गर्व महसूस होता है। इस अवसर पर तुलज संस्थान के कार्यकारी निदेशक सिल्की जैन मारवाह, उपाध्यक्ष रौनक जैन, उपाध्यक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी डॉ. राघव गर्ग, निदेशक डॉ. संदीप विजय आदि उपस्थित थे.
