Bollywood’s multi-talented actor Saeed Jaffrey was born on this day. Even though he is not with us today, people have not been able to forget his performance till now. Saeed Jaffrey was a good actor as well as a writer and mimicry artist. He was born in Punjab and his father Dr Hamid Hussain Jafri was a doctor. Saeed died of a brain haemorrhage at his London home. He died on 15 November 2015.
Saeed Jaffrey may have played small roles in films or got less screen, but still he used to weigh his presence in the film with his performance. Apart from films, there was something different in Saeed Jaffrey’s personal life as well. Saeed Jaffrey starred in Satyajit Ray’s 1977 film Shatrunj Ke Khiladi. He started his career with the English film The Guru. The film is said to have brought him a lot of fame and his performance was appreciated. At that time in the film she had faced veteran actor Sanjeev Kumar, though her shine did not fade. After this film, he worked in big and hit films like Chashme Badur, Mandi, Masoom and Ram Teri Ganga Mali Ho Gayi. In most of the films, Saeed either played the role of father or played a negative role in few films but all the characters he played were excellent. In an interview, Saeed Jaffrey had once disclosed his personal life and said that he was to blame for the failure of his married life. Sayeed had said, ‘He did injustice to his wife Mahrunima alias Madhur Jaffrey.
He could never give his wife the freedom she deserved. Sayeed said, ‘He wanted his wife to be a little modern, but not doing so, he started distancing himself from his wife.

आज ही के दिन बॉलीवुड के मल्टी टैलेंटेड अभिनेता सईद जाफरी का जन्म हुआ था। भले ही वह आज हमारे बीच नहीं हैं, लेकिन उनके प्रदर्शन को लोग अब तक भुला नहीं पाए हैं। सईद जाफरी एक अच्छे अभिनेता होने के साथ-साथ एक लेखक और मिमिक्री कलाकार भी थे। उनका जन्म पंजाब में हुआ था और उनके पिता डॉ हामिद हुसैन जाफरी एक डॉक्टर थे। सईद का उनके लंदन स्थित घर में ब्रेन हैमरेज से निधन हो गया। 15 नवंबर 2015 को उनका निधन हो गया।
सईद जाफरी ने भले ही फिल्मों में छोटी भूमिकाएं निभाई हों या कम स्क्रीन मिली हों, लेकिन फिर भी वह फिल्म में अपनी उपस्थिति को अपने प्रदर्शन से तौलते थे। फिल्मों के अलावा सईद जाफरी की निजी जिंदगी में भी कुछ अलग था। सईद जाफरी ने सत्यजीत रे की 1977 की फिल्म शत्रुंज के खिलाड़ी में अभिनय किया। उन्होंने अपने करियर की शुरुआत अंग्रेजी फिल्म द गुरु से की थी। कहा जाता है कि इस फिल्म ने उन्हें बहुत प्रसिद्धि दिलाई और उनके प्रदर्शन की सराहना की गई। उस समय फिल्म में उनका सामना दिग्गज अभिनेता संजीव कुमार से हुआ था, हालांकि उनकी चमक फीकी नहीं पड़ी। इस फिल्म के बाद उन्होंने चश्मेबदुर, मंडी, मासूम और राम तेरी गंगा माली हो गई जैसी बड़ी और हिट फिल्मों में काम किया। ज्यादातर फिल्मों में सईद ने या तो पिता की भूमिका निभाई या कुछ फिल्मों में नकारात्मक भूमिका निभाई लेकिन उनके द्वारा निभाए गए सभी किरदार बेहतरीन थे। एक साक्षात्कार में, सईद जाफरी ने एक बार अपने निजी जीवन का खुलासा किया था और कहा था कि वह अपने विवाहित जीवन की विफलता के लिए दोषी थे। सईद ने कहा था, 'उसने अपनी पत्नी महरुनिमा उर्फ मधुर जाफरी के साथ अन्याय किया।
