Monali Thakur is an Indian singer. She was born on 3 November 1985 in a Hindu Bengali family in Kolkata, West Bengal. She is the daughter of Shakti Thakur (Bengali Singer) and Mehuli Thakur. She has an elder sister Mehuli Thakur. She was married to Maik Richter (Restaurateur) in 2017.
She has some popular Bollywood songs like “Tu Mohabbat Hai”, “Moh Moh Ke Dhaage”, and “Ho Ja Awara”. She has also sung non-filmy songs like “Woh Pehli Bar” for Indian Idol Season 2 in 2006, “Ye Mera India Anthem” and “Googly Woogly Wooksh” in 2015, “Naamkarann Title Track” in 2016, “Shy Mora Saiyaan” in 2018, “Kare Naina”, “Pani Pani Re”, and “Swachh Bharat Anthem” in 2019.
