He is the elder son of great Indian musician Shankar Mahadevan, a Music composer, singer, and lyricist. He has one brother also named “Shivam Mahadevan”. He is still single. His favorite actor and actress are Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

He completed his high school education at Sacred Heart High School in Vashi, Mumbai, India. After completing his Graduate study at SIES College of Sion, He is currently studying at R.D National College.
Music career:
He started his singing career as a playback singer with the song of “Bunty Aur Babli title song” and his co-singers are his father “Shankar Mahadevan” Sukhwinder Singh and Jaswinder Narula. This song goes tremendously into one of the hit songs of the year.
But he got his song after 8 years, the song of “Zinda” from the film “Bhaag Milka Bhaag”. He also contributed to Marathi movies. His first Marathi music song is “Swapna Tujhe Ni Majhe” as music director. After that, His career turning point was proved by the song of “Malang” from the film Dhoom 3 and he sang many more hit songs such as,
