Prakash Jha is currently busy promoting his much awaited and popular web series Ashram Season 3. Released in 2010, the film is a political thriller. The film stars an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Nana Patekar, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee, Sara Thompson and Naseeruddin Shah. Though it was a successful film, the makers found themselves in the midst of controversies after many claimed that the film had similarities with real-life personalities. As Prakash Jha is promoting his web series Ashram Season 3 with Bobby Deol, in a recent conversation the filmmaker was asked about his plans for a politics sequel. Responding to the query, Jha told Bollywood Life that he has a plan and a script for the sequel, but is still a bit skeptical about it. Prakash Jha said, “I like to explore new subjects. Politics is a subject of which there is another part which has been written. But, you know, in the field of politics, there may be so many changes (compared to when the script was written), but I am not very sure. There are some new topics that I am working on.”
Meanwhile, the trailer of Ashram is garnering a lot of buzz, most people are curious about Esha Gupta’s character. Nothing has been revealed about her part, however, during the same conversation, the portal asked Jha and Deol about her character.
