A Ranbir Kapoor fan has said that she can’t control her emotions as she lashed out at Ranbir Kapoor when he expressed his love for her. The incident happened when All Stars Football Club (ASFC) vice-captain Ranbir played against Emirates United in the Celebrity Football Cup 2022 in Dubai on Saturday. As Ranbir waited for his teammates Abhishek Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan and others to take the field, fans cheered and hooted for the actors. After a brief silence, a fan shouted, ‘Ranbir I love you,’ looking back at him. He turned and pounced on him to hoot all the fans again. The fan posted a video of the conversation on his Instagram account, and set it to the tune of Kesariya, a song from Ranbir’s upcoming film Brahmastra with his wife Alia Bhatt which was released on their wedding day. The fan captioned it, “When you shout ‘Ranbir, I love you’ and he actually looks back in the blink of an eye!” Commenting on the video, many fans of Ranbir called him the ‘cutest’. One wrote, “You are so lucky!”
He also posted a video of Ranbir coming towards the fans after the match and touching their hands. He also took a call from another fan and clicked a selfie with the group before passing on to the other fans. The fan wrote, “Manifest, he said!!! So, yes, I personally met that person – RK. That eye contact and this moment with one and only RK!! He came straight towards me and touched my hand.” She also recalled that meeting in her next post, writing, “I’m still trying to control my emotions that I actually met Ranbir Kapoor last night! I think I’m starting to believe it.” That ‘manifesting’ is real! …. Cruising my way through that RK moment, with this song on repeat in my head, literally.”
Ranbir recently told Bollywood Hungama, describing his football team ASFC as one of the most important parts of his life, “We are really happy to be here. It also happens to be the 10th anniversary of ASFC. It is probably the most It’s one of the most important things I’ve been a part of.” To this, team captain Abhishek Bachchan teased her, saying, “Thinking that they have just got married, which is heartwarming.”
