A restaurant in Pakistan has created a ruckus on social media for sharing a distasteful advertisement. The restaurant was promoting a special “Men’s Monday” discount, but they used a scene from ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, in which Alia Bhatt, who played a sex worker in the film, was proposed to men on the streets of Mumbai. was seen doing.
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed Alia Bhatt earned praise for playing a sex worker who climbed through the ranks to become the owner of a powerful brothel. However, in one of the painful but difficult scenes of the film, she was seen outside a building in search of clients. This particular scene caught the attention of a Karachi-based restaurant as they advertised a special discount for men only. “Aja na king – what are you waiting for?” The restaurant wrote on Instagram.
The publicity stunt did not go down well with the netizens as several users flooded the comments section taking a dig at the restaurant owners.

After facing such heavy criticism, the restaurant admitted that they did not want to hurt sentiments by using the advertisement. “Hey Logan, why did you take so much to heart?
