Not only the film industry but his fans are also shocked by the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. While his death was termed as suicide by the police, his friends and family took the matter forward and now the CBI is probing the matter.
According to an ANI report, reported by Koimoi.com, a recent RTI appeal regarding Sushant Singh Rajput’s case was denied access to information by the CBI as the matter is still under investigation . As per a recent ANI report, CBI recently received an RTI appeal from fans of the actor regarding the Sushant Singh Rajput case. However, the request was not pursued as the matter is still in progress though no major incident has been reported in the last few months.
“Sushant Singh Rajput case is under investigation, progress information may hinder the process of investigation. The information sought cannot be provided,” the CBI replied to the applicant.
The actor was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. A lot of pictures were circulated on social media platforms at the time of the tragedy. This fueled several conspiracy theories surrounding his death. However, his postmortem report revealed that he died of suffocation due to hanging. But his fans and family believe that this was not true. The case was handed over to the CBI and his ex-girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty, was one of those questioned by the media and his fans alike.
