Madhushree is an Indian female playback singer who primarily works in the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Malayalam film industries. She was 52 years old and was born on 2 November 1969 in Kolkata, West Bengal in India. She always wanted to become a singer since her childhood. Specifically, her father wanted her to be a classical singer. But she wants to complete her studies first. Soo, she took admitted to Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata and completed her master’s degree.

Madhushree’s birthname was “Sujatha Bhattacharya” but she changed her name to Madhu Shree after becoming a professional singer. Madhushree belongs to a musical background family, firstly she got trained by her family in classical and western styles of music. Her parents were Amarendranath and Parbati Bhattacharya. She is married to Robby Badal.

She was trained by Sangeetacharya Pt. Amiya Ranjan Bandyopadhyay (she was an Indian classical and folk music teacher), A noted exponent of the Bishnupur Gharana and excelled in Thumri and Khayal.
