Jaffrey Iqbal is considered one of the prominent personalities of the music industry who has given a new dimension to the music industry. With his unique art of mixing English and Hindi songs, he creates a distinctive texture of music and songs for music lovers.
Jeffery who was born and raised in the united states started displaying his love and passion for music in his early childhood. Seeing his talent, his parents started encouraging him. Besides singing and composing music, he also started learning musical instruments as he learned to play the harmonium and Tabla. He also took professional training in singing Ghazals, Bollywood songs, and Qawali.
In 2007, he got his first break to begin his journey in music on Indian television. He participated in a television reality show which was aired by Sahara One. Thanks to this show, he got the chance to work with legend A.R. Rahman. He associated with A.R. Rahman on many tours and concerts. Jeffrey Iqbal also got the opportunity to share the stage with many artists including Hariharan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sukhwinder Singh, Atif Aslam, Chitra, Shankar Mahadevan, Sujata, Madhushree, and so on.
Besides, he also participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2009, Jammin 2018, and India’s Raw Star. he is very popular in India and USA as well.
Jeffery Iqbal came to India in order to participate in the show Re Ga Ma Pa from the USA to represent his country. In 2008, he competed in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge USA and secured the position of Ist runner-up. After that, Suresh Wadekar, a well-known music director, invited him to work with him. There are many songs created by Jeffrey Iqbal himself like Girls Like You/Tere Bina in 2019, Chaap Tilak in 2020, Channa Mereya & Let Me Love You in 2017, Yadin(Memories) in 2020, Someone You Loved & Tu Jaane Na in 2020, and so on.
