Abhijeet Sawant is the most popular Indian Playback singer. He was born on 7 October 1981 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is the son of Shridhar Pandurang Sawant and Manisha Sawant. He was married to Shilpa Sawant in 2007.
Sawant won the first season of Indian Idol in 2005. Abhijeet released the first solo album that after becoming the Indian Idol was Apka Abhijeet Sawant.
He has also appeared in some T.V. Serials like “Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai” and “C.I.D.”. In 2010, He has hosted season 5 of Indian Idol.
