Swagat Rathod is a man of many skills as he is a singer, writer, and performer in the Indian film Industry. He hails from Sirohi, Rajasthan. He participated in a web singing show named “Arrived” an A.R. Rahman Show and won it in 2018. After winning this title, he got his first chance to sing the song “Ishqbaazi” in the Bollywood movie “Zero” starring Salman Khan.
He was born and also spent his early life in Sirohi, Rajasthan. His Father also used to work in a band of musicians in Sirohi and his mother is leading life as a housewife.
Swagat studied at Government Senior Secondary School Sirohi and completed his graduation in Electrical Engineering from MBM Engineering College Jodhpur. While pursuing his graduation, he gave auditions for the famous A.R. Rahman show “Arrived” and got selected for the show.
Career
At the time of the “Arrived” audition, Swagat chose a Sonu Nigam song “ Abhi Mujh me Khain” to perform, and he impressed A.R. Rahman very much with his prominent voice. His next performance along with Nandinee on the song “Saibo” was not up to the mark for the Judges and the winner of that episode were Pooja Tiwari and Antara Nandy.
In episode 8, He gave one of his best performances when he sang “Kya Karoon”. For this performance, A.R Rahman pressed the share button for him for this performance. According to Rahman, This song in the voice of Swagat Rathod was great.
In the end, Swagat won the show after 14 episodes. A.R. Rahman himself gave him the winning title of this show. Being the winner of “Arrived”, he got a chance to become a “voice of Zero”. He also sang for Salman Khan in the song “ Ishqbazi for the film Zero.
