Sushma Shrestha is a famous Indian playback singer. She was born on 06 September 1960 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of Bholanath Shrestha (Music Composer).
She started singing as a child singer. Poornima formed a successful collaboration with such popular songs, “Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle” from ‘Aa Gale Lag Jaa’ in 1973 and “Kya Hua Tera Vada” from ‘Hum Kisise Kum Naheen’ in 1977.
She lost her father when she was 11 years old on 12 April 1971.
In 1971, Sushma has nominated for the “Filmfare Best Female Playback Award” at the age of 11.
In 1973, She has awarded by the “Government of Maharastra” for support to educational relief.
