His mother’s name is “Shushila Bhatt”, and his father’s name is “Ramesh Bhatt” who is also a puppeteer genre singer. He has one younger brother also. Sawai is a married man but his wife’s name is not known. His father runs a puppet show all over the district to earn money and sustain their life. At a young age, he got interested in Rajasthani traditional songs and folk songs.
Music Career:
He came into the limelight after being selected as a contestant in the popular Indian music reality show “Indian Idol season 12”. He tried in season 10 even, but he got rejected.
He sang a traditional folk song “Keshariya Balam aao mere desh” in season 12 and he impressed all judges (Vishal Dadlani, Himesh Reshammiya, and Neha Kakkar) with his voice. He won a golden mic from the judges for this performance. He also loves to play Harmonium. After being impressed by his performances and his talent, Himesh Reshammiya give him his first song as a professional singer “O Sajnaa” Himesh Reshammiya composes and directs this song for Sawai Bhatt.
