S. D. Burman was the most popular Indian Singer. He was born on 1 October 1906 in Comilla, Tripura, British India. He was the son of Mahamanyabar Rajkumar Nabadwipchandra Dev Burman and Nirmala Devi (Royal Princess Of Manipur). He had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He was married to Meera Dev Burman (Lyricist and Singer). He had a son R. D. Burman (Singer).
