Pankaj Kapoor was born on 29 May 1954, He is an Indian actor who has performed in Hindi, television, theatre, and movies. He has seemed in several television serials and movies. He is the recipient of several awards, including a Filmfare Award and 3 National Movie Awards. His numerous acclaimed movie parts to date have been that of Inspector, Dr. Dipankar Roy in Ek Doctor Ki Maut (1991), P.K. in Raakh (1989), and Abba Ji established on Shakespeare’s King Duncan in Vishal Bhardwaj’s adaption of Macbeth; Maqbool (2004).
In the 1980s, he became a household name through the TV sequel Karamchand, a comedy television sequel in the detective genre. And in the Office Office, millennium, a comic satire on prevalent corruption in India.
Pankaj Kapur was born in a Khatri family Ludhiana, Punjab on 29 May 1954. He finished his schooling in Punjab and acquired an eager interest in theatre and acting while growing up. He then enlisted in the National School of Drama to seek his interest.
He wedded dancer and actress Neelima Azeem in 1979. They were settled in New Delhi where they had their only child Shahid Kapoor in 1981. The couple divorced in 1984.
Pankaj Kapur went on to marry actress Supriya Pathak in 1988. They have a son Ruhaan Kapur and one daughter Sanah Kapur.
