Mehdi Hasan is an Indian playback and Ghazal singer. He was born on 18 July 1927 in Pakistan. He has an elder brother Ghulam Qadir. He started singing at a very young age. In 1952, He has first sang on Pakistan Radio. In 1956, He has released his first song was “Nazar Milte Hi Dil Ki Bat Ka Charcha Na Ho Jaye” from the film “Shikar”.
