Manoj Muntashir is an Indian poet and screenwriter. He was born on 27 February 1976 in a Brahmin family in Gauriganj, Amethi District, Uttar Pradesh. His mother is a school teacher. He was married to Neelam Muntashir. He has a son  Aaru.

His favorite actor is Salman Khan, his favorite singer is Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, his favorite lyricists are Shailendra and Santosh Anand, his favorite music composer is Khayyam, and his favorite poets are Majrooh Sultanpuri, Sahir Ludhianvi, and Mirza Ghalib.
