Ghulam Ali is an Indian playback singer. He was born on 5 December 1940 in Punjab, British India (Now in Pakistan). He is the son of Daulat Ali. He was married to his first wife Afshan Abbas and after his divorce, he was married to his second wife Sayeeda Ali. He has a son who is Aamir Ali and has a daughter who is Rabia Ali.

His favorite actors are Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar, and Manoj Kumar, his favorite actresses are Rekha, Madhuri Dixit, and Madhubala, and his favorite singers are Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Lata Mangeshkar, and Jagjit Singh.

In 1960, he started singing as a child singer for Radio Pakistan at the age of 13. He has sung famous ghazals like “Chupke Chupke Raat Din”, “Dil Mein Ek Lehar Si”, “Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa” and the most trending “Hamko Kisi Ke Gham Ne Mara” has always topped the list of Ghazal listeners.

He has been awarded In 1979, the “Pride Of Performance Award” by the President of Pakistan, In 2013, the “Sitara-I-Imtiaz” by the President of Pakistan.
