Amirbai Karnataki is a well-known singer, actress, and also playback singer in Hindi movies. She is a very talented artist. Her mother tongue is Kannada and she also speaks well Gujarati language. She died because of a Paralytic attack. At her home, Amirbai was burned. She belongs to a middle-class family. “Vaishnava Jana To” a song sung by Amirbai was liked by Mahatma Gandhi.

Personal life details
Amirbai’s marriage life was not much fine. She first marries Himalay Vala (aka Afzal Qureshi). Himalaya was a well-known film actor and he use to play mostly negative roles in the movies. He use to do physical violence with Amirbai frequently after their marriage and spend Amirbai’s money for his own personal leisure. She use to act normal in front of everyone. As per writer Bhai Ranjan Kumar Pandya’s details, Amirbai’s elder sister Ahilya Bai takes a stand for her sister, and one night she went to meet Chelshankar Vyas (Lawyer). And finally, after a few days, Amirbai got divorced. In 1947 during the partition, Himalayawala went to Pakistan. Amirbai got married again to Badri Kaanchwala (editor of Paras).
