Born on 4 September 1994, Adrija Gupta wears different hats as She is Music Director, music producer, singer-songwriter, performer, and artist in the Indian film Industry. By singing and composing music, She has given a huge contribution to several Bollywood Films, television shows, Punjabi films, south Indian films, and numerous advertising projects.
Her most notable work includes her score for Forensic 2022, and web series such as Dice Media – Operation MBBS, RejectX, and also for The Reunion (2021).
Early life and education
She was born in Kolkata and raised in 25 places. Being the only girl child to a musician father, and growing up in a musical environment, She started learning music in her infancy under the guidance of her father who was adept in Western Classical Music. She completed her education in music with a specialization in classical guitar at The Trinity College Of Music, London.
Adrija, who has been singing since the age of 4, has the ability to sing in different languages such as English, Hindi, and Bengali to name a few.
In 2011, She moved to Mumbai with her family and started working as a solo artist in the film industry. After that, she began to work as a singer and later as a music director.
Career
After moving to Mumbai, she made her mark by performing at several clubs and events all over India such as Blue Frog, Hard Rock Cafe, etc. After this, she got the chance to sing songs in many films including Simba, Chennai Express, and Table No 21 among others.
Apart from singing, she also scored music for several programs such as UTV Bindass’s Beg Borrow Steal, RejectX, Dice Media’s Operation MBBS, and The Zoom Studio’s The Reunion (2021) She has produced numerous advertising projects.
Presently, she has been performing at various corporate shows in different genres such as pop, alternative, alternative rock, jazz, Bollywood, reggae & hip-hop. She travels and composes music a lot in collaboration with different artists all over the world.
